Peshawar University Teachers Association Journal is a unique research journal that reflects the endeavors and commitment of a teaching community to promote research and scholarship. PUTAJ is the only journal run by university teachers’ association in Pakistan. Since 1993/4 Peshawar University Teachers Association (PUTA) annually publishes the three appropriated sections of PUTAJ such as, Oriental Studies, Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences.
PUTAJ (Humanities and Social Sciences, Oriental Studies) is recently recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan which is testament of the fact that PUTAJ publishes quality research work in a wide range of disciplines from Oriental, Humanities, Social and Natural Science. PUTAJ Editors welcome contributions, from scholars around the world, with original, insightful and challenging articles on diverse themes.
Aims and Scope:
With broader scope, interdisciplinary approaches and diverse content PUTAJ seeks to contribute to debates in the wider range of disciplines. It promotes research through contributions from multiple disciplines that use diverse methodologies and theoretical frameworks. It welcomes research articles that cover broader areas of oriental studies, humanities, social and natural sciences. Such articles should employ rigorous and innovative research methods, diverse perspectives and critical thinking.PUTAJ is a journal run by a teachers’ association and has provided a forum to generate debates based in contemporary studies and research as well as to dispense valuable insights to larger and diverse academia. It is open to all who would contribute to the demanding field of research. Submitted articles are peer reviewed by relevant experts.
